Kids Program

Sailing on a magnificent ship with MSC Cruises offers oceans of adventure for your children. In MSC’s Kids Clubs, children can let their imaginations run wild – one day they’re pirates searching for gold, the next they’re artists, dancers and explorers. MSC offers a wealth of activities and captivating play areas to enrich their minds and set the stage for endless fun. Parents can relax by the pool or in the MSC Aurea Spa, confident in the supervision of the experienced Kids Club staff. Please note: MSC caters to an international clientele and youth programs will be conducted in multiple languages.

Age groups:
Baby Club – 0 to 3 years olds
Mini Club – 3 to 6 year olds
Junior Club – 7 to 11 year olds
Young Club – 12 to 14 years olds
Teen Club – 15 to 17 year olds

Baby Laundry Service
MSC has the ideal way of cleaning the clothes your young children have dirtied. Dedicated to 0 to 6-year-olds, their Baby Laundry service washes baby and toddler clothes separately, using a specialized machine, program, and detergents to clean and sanitize even at temperatures as low as 30°C. MSC will collect your children’s items from your cabin and deliver them to you the next day, clean and sterile: ideal for protecting their skin. You’ll find full details in your cabin, along with a biodegradable paper laundry bag and a service coupon to fill in.

Baby Club (under 3)
You can leave your toddlers with our MSC Babycare staff, or stay with them and enjoy the special Chicco toys and games. They'll love our music and rhythm activities, designed to awaken their curiosity.
 
MSC Cruises offers two services to all parents of babies under 3 years old*.
- MSC Baby Time: is the service that allows parents to enter our baby club and play with their children at specific time slots each day - Babies with parents under 3 years old, no limitations. 
- MSC Baby Care: is the service that allows parents to leave their baby with the youth staff in determined time slots each day and in the meantime enjoy on-board services and relaxation. Both services are free of charge and allow a maximum of 15 babies to enter the Baby Club at the same time - Babies with youth staff from 6 months to 3 years old.
 
Our partnership with leading baby care brand Chicco provides a dedicated play area with facilities for babies and toddlers under 3 years old.

*To be left under the responsibility of youth staff during MSC Baby Care service, babies must be more than 6 months old.

Mini Club (children 3 to 6)
The Mini Club welcomes children aged between 3 and 6 years old, bringing them new friends and lots of fun, enriched by the stimulating toys of our partnership with LEGO®. The club offers games, events and activities to free their imagination and make every day special. And the whole family is invited to the Doremi Family Disco.

Please note that children must be fully toilet trained and self-sufficient to be left in the care of the Mini Club.

Junior Club (Children 7 to 11)
The Junior Club inspires connection and cooperation among 7 to 11-year-olds, through a wide variety of activities. Highlights range from Masterchef at Sea Juniors and Dorebro Sport competitions to our Fire & Ice live video game. Do you like acting, dancing or singing? Enjoy the thrill of filming with the Kelly & Kloe On Board Green Screen Experience!
 
Young Club (children 12 to 14)
With the Young Club, kids from 12 to 14 years old can dive into a world of discovery, involvement and interaction.
Each day holds the promise of new experiences, with a dedicated programme of sport tournaments, hi-tech games and lots of other fun activities. And of course, every day also brings opportunities to make new friends.

Teen Club (children 15 to 17)
Teenagers aged from 15 to 17 years old can look forward to having the time of their lives on board. Teen Club activities range from sports and competitions, dance contests and social network games to Wii, Xbox and PS4 tournaments.

• For the kind of adrenaline rush kids and teenagers love, we give them the chance to pilot a fast-flying drone with our Drone Academy through an obstacle course in a night-time race that will really test their skill! (available on select ships)
• Developed in partnership with Fremantle, the company behind "The X Factor", the Dance Crew Competition gives teams of teenagers the chance to compete for the title of Dance Crew of the Year (available on select ships)
• With our new YouTube web series Cabin 12006, your children can follow teenager Markus on his first cruise as it turns into an unexpected adventure!
• Also with the Teen disco, the Karaoke, Flash mobs and other themed events, every evening is a party!

Special Kids/Juniors Services

• Dedicated children’s menus in all restaurants
• Fun Time Dinners – MSC offers a free service in which children can dine with the entertainment staff daily in the buffet restaurant
• Happy Dinners – Children are given dinner while adults enjoy appetizers, then children are escorted to the play area by entertainment staff while adults dine (free service)
• Kids Around The Clock – Supervised night play and napping (small charge applies)
• Family Excursions – The entertainment staff supports excursions for the entire family so everyone is always happy

Onboard Dining

At the Kids Corner, there are tasty and healthful dishes available during mealtimes. MSC's restaurants offer items from menus created with the help of the Osservatorio Chicco Baby Research Center. If your child has special dietary needs, please inform your VTG agent. High chairs are available in all onboard restaurants and at the buffet; ask your waiter for assistance. Additionally, if you ask a waiter, they will be happy to heat up your child's food for you.

If you would like to have dinner alone, you can drop your children off at the Mini/Juniors Club and enjoy your dinner while MSC's staff keeps them entertained, or you have the option of have your children escorted to the the appropriate Club when they're done eating while you enjoy the rest of your dinner (ask Youth Staff onboard to book.)

Additional Information:

• For a little extra peace of mind when leaving your children in either of the Clubs, you can request a pager/deck phone so MSC can contact you at any time.
• If your child has a birthday during the cruise, make it even more fun by ordering a special Doremi cake. Contact Reception/Guest Services for more details. 
• From 11 PM to 2 AM, you can take advantage of the late-night services in the Clubs where your children can have a great time. Ask for a booking form from the appropriate Club.
• You can ask 24-hour room service to ask for warm milk to be brought to your stateroom or children's meals to be reheated at any time for a nominal fee.
• If you want to enjoy a MSC excursion without the little ones, you can leave them in the care of MSC's expert Youth Staff in the Clubs. Just sign up the day before!
